In every area we work, there are countless opportunities to do good works and to improve the quality of life for people living in difficult situations. Often these opportunities require resources that do not appear readily available and so we feel restrained. BUT, while we sometimes feel the restraints in our work… our worship is never is. Unrestrained vibrant worship is the antidote to oppression, opposition, and poverty.
Christians are rarely the majority in any population, but in many of the places we have opportunity to work Christians are overwhelmingly in the minority —typically 5% or less of the population.
Yet, their vibrant worship fills the streets, such as in picture above of believers bursting through the gates of their church into the streets to celebrate Palm Sunday – singing and shout about King Jesus throughout their neighborhood lined with homes and businesses of people who do not share and opposed their faith.
And, unrestrained worship takes place even in the most difficult circumstances as seen as our one-legged friend, dances before the Lord in the presence of his friends .
