Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said, The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

If we do not align our work with the plans and purposes of Jesus, our work is in vain. To that end we:

  • Proclaim the good new of the Kingdom
  • Bring healing and wholeness to people and communities
  • See people as they are – helpless and harassed, like sheep without a shepherd
  • Pray for laborers and do all we can to support those already in the fields

By design The Cross Connecting Network is just that – a  network and not an organization. We want to effectively and efficiently use existing resources seeking and building collaborative relationships and networks where possible. If these resources are not available, we prayerfully wait for God to move or begin the development on our own when it is appropriate.

The Kingdom is advancing in places where many would not see possible. In countries where the gospel is opposed – sometimes violently – there are opportunities beyond imagination. Often these works are in isolated areas where the Spirit of God is raising up leaders with vision and passion – many of whom we will never meet or even know about. BUT, there are those leaders where God is making connections that only He could make and we have the privilege to get to know them. listen to their vision and stand should to shoulder with them in their work. These are comprehensive visionary leaders. They see the big picture and believe that God will one day pour out His glory on their cities and their nation. We desire to be a part of that.

We also recognize that in our own nation their is a rapid decline in the Christian faith. The Millennial generation and even those older have become disillusioned with faith – all faiths – but especially the faith of their parents and grand parents.

The Cross Connecting Network loves the passion and compassion of this generation and seeks to create challenging cross cultural work experiences and provide opportunities to have crucial conversations about Jesus and his views on the things that concern them.

We believe this generation will see and experience God moving in ways more than answer their questions and give them a confident hope to live lives that are abundantly more than they could ever have imagined.
